On the evening of April 9th, a select group of DIBA members gathered at TuliPark Roma for a truly unique experience — a little corner of The Netherlands, right in the Italian capital.
Arriving at golden hour, the group strolled through the vast tulip fields, admiring over 150 varieties of tulips in full bloom and capturing the magic of the spring light through their lenses and bouquets.
After the walk, members gathered for an outdoor Dutch-style aperitivo, where they were joined by Davide Votadoro, the founder of TuliPark. Davide, a Sicilian whose family has been active in the tulip and bulb sector for three generations, shared the story behind this remarkable project — how, with the support of his family and friends in The Netherlands, he brought a slice of Holland to Italy. Among the park’s highlights is a miniature working windmill, entirely handcrafted by a Dutch artisan who entrusted his creation to Davide.
What started in Rome and Bologna has since grown through franchise in Bari, Caltagirone, and most recently Catania —a true “from Sicily with passion” success story.
A warm, inspiring evening — proof that great connections can bloom in the most unexpected places. 🌷
