Event with Merijn Tinga The Plastic Soup Surfer at Hotel Etico in Rome

Join us on 21 May 2026 at Albergo Etico, Rome, for an evening on plastic recycling. Our keynote speaker is Merijn Tinga, internationally known as the Plastic Soup Surfer, who will arrive in Rome by sea from Nice — a journey that will take him to meet Prince Albert II of Monaco, the Mayor of Genoa, and Pope Leo XIV. A panel discussion will follow with representatives from the waste management and retail sectors. The evening will conclude with a networking apericena in the courtyard of Albergo Etico.
